DC MOTOR ARMATURE BANDING MACHINE (ACM103)

The АСМ103 is a special purpose machine, designed for the automatic banding tape winding of DC motor armatures, and of vehicle starter motors in particular. The machine is readjustable and able to process virtually any armature variety.
Machine bed is made out of welded metal sheets, where all main working units are disposed:
- spindle unit and main drive for locating and clamping of the armature, driven through variable AC motor and two consecutive belt transmissions;
- carriage, consisting of set of tensioning rollers, chute and a stopping drum, that carries the banding tape, providing the necessary tensioning force during its winding on the armature;
- tailstock ensuring armature shaft support during the banding tape winding.

ACM103 is easily readjustable and does not require special and expensive tooling.

Approximate capacity: 60 armatures/hr.
