DYNAMIC BALANCING MACHINE FOR VENTILATION TURBINES (ACM110)

ACM110 is a dynamic balancing machine, designed for the unbalance measurement of ventilation turbines. The machine is able to perform static unbalance measurement in one plane only as well.
Machine bed is made out of welded steel sheets with upper and lower supporting plates, lateral cover of the working zone and a swivel type touch screen operator's panel, adjustable by height, fixed to the machine body by means of a bracket. On the lower supporting plate of the machine is disposed the drive AC motor (controlled by a frequency inverter), based on a cradle and actuating the drive spindle through vertical belt transmission. The machine has a built-in angular workpiece position control that gives constant information about current position of the spindle. The drive spindle immobile part is laid on two supports with piezo-electric sensors that read measurement of the dynamic reactions during the rotation of the mobile part of the spindle. A locking mechanism, mounted next to the belt sheave, stops rotation of the spindle by pressing its handle.

The automatic unbalance measurement cycle is started by closing the lateral cover of the working zone, after placing the turbine on the spindle. The spindle starts to rotate by increasing gradually its speed. The unbalance measurement is taken when the preset spindle speed is reached. The cycle is finished by stopping the drive spindle.
Machine controller is able to store up to 99 programs that can be selected by their numbers. Machine calibration is done semi-automatically and does not require special training of the operator, nor any special master workpiece for the calibration check.
Unbalance data are displayed in grams with respect to the turbine diameter on each plane.
