"V"-SHAPED SLOT INSULATION FORMING AND INSERTION MACHINE WITH INTERMEDIATE AND END WEDGE FORMING OPERATIONS FOR AC MOTOR STATORS (ACM115)

АСМ115 is an automatic readjustable machine, designed for the forming of "V"-shaped slot insulation and its insertion into the stator slots. After readjustment, the machine can be used for the forming of intermediate paper insulations, placed between the conductors inside the slots, and for the forming of the wedges that are inserted at the outer side of the stator slots after finishing of the conductor insertion process. Machine frame is made out of aluminum profiles with metal supporting plate, carrying the main machine units, as follows:
- insulation paper roll magazine, disposed in the lower part of the machine;
- paper folding mechanism to introduce, form and fold the edges of the paper insulations;
- paper feeding mechanism that feeds the insulation paper above the forming mechanism;
- slot insulation forming unit that consists of a clamp, driving mechanism, paper stop and supporting arms;
- paper cutting mechanism;
- "V"-shape slot insulation forming mechanism;
- indexing mechanism that rotates the stator to the next working position;
- slot insulation inserting mechanism that introduces the formed insulation inside the slot.

Approximate capacity: 65 stators/hr.for 36 stator slots; 90 stators/hr. for 24 stator slots.
