MAGNET POLES AND CLIPS INSERTION MACHINE FOR STARTER STATOR (ACM117)

ÀÑÌ117 is a semi-automatic machine, designed for the insertion of magnets and clips into the stator housings of DC motors. Machine frame is made out of aluminum profiles with main supporting plate, on which the following main machine units are disposed:
- Feeding mechanism - shifts the stator housing above the working area to allow performance of the magnets and clip insertion process. It consists of two vertical plates with guideways, on which the slide of the workpiece seat is shifted. The slide is actuated by means of the pneumatic cylinder. Workpiece seat consists of ring and locator, both fixed to the slide, used for orientation of the stator housing;
- Clamping and inserting mechanism - destined to arrange and press together four magnets with four clips and to insert them into the stator housing. The clamping mechanism is disposed upon the main supporting plate and comprises four jaws, shifted simultaneously by the track rollers through pneumatic cylinders. The inserting unit is disposed below the main machine plate and consists of a piston with eight radial slots and clamps that are used to guide the magnets and the clips during their insertion;
- Traverse beam - disposed above the main machine plate and carrying the tapered end stator stop that provides easier positioning and firm fixation of the stator housing during the inserting operation.
