AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR ROUND WIRE DOUBLE TURN CONDUCTOR FORMING AND INSERTION INTO DC MOTOR ARMATURES (ACM119)

The ACM119 automatic machine is especially designed for the forming of double turn conuctors out of round copper wire and their arranging and insertion into the DC motor armature slots. The machine cannot be used for other case of application. Raw material is bare or enameled round copper wire, provided on spools of appropriate size. The wire feeding of the machine is done by a motorized device, dereeling with speed, synchronized with the machine working rate. The machine performes consecutively the operations of wire straightening, feeding the exact developped lenght of wire, bending and cutting-off with end pinching and twisting of the legs at the needed angle, and arranging and inserting of the preset number of already formed conductors into the armature slots. Additional attachments are provided for stripping of the wire varnish at the double turn conductor ends when enameled wire is used. All machine units are mounted on the alluminum longitudinal machine frame (in accordance with the consecutive operations), thus giving the possiblity to readjust them according to the specific developed wire length. Exact position of the main units can be read on the machine millimetric scales in order to record the specific hairpin parameters and use them for future easier readjustment.
