MACHINE FOR AUTOMATIC COMMUTATOR INSTALLING AND PRESSING WIRE ENDS OF DC MOTOR ARMATURES (ACM121)

The automatic ÀÑÌ121 machine is designed for commutator and wire ends pressing into the DC motor armature slots. The commutator is introduced from a gravity entry magazine to the locating device by means of pneumatic manipulator. The commutator is precisely orientated by means of optical sensor and a step motor. The armature that is to be processed comes from a chain conveyor and is brought to the working zone precisely orientated. The commutator is assembled to the armature shaft and the wire ends are pressed inside the commutator slots by means of hydraulic cylinders. The machine provides high precision of angular positioning of the armature slots with respect to the commutator, high repeatablity and high level of precision of the pressing size and force.
