HAIRPIN, TAKE-OFF AND LINK CONDUCTOR COMBINED FORMING MACHINE FOR ALTERNATOR STATORS USING RECTANGULAR COPPER WIRE (ACM128)

ÀÑÌ128 is an automatic readjustable machine, designed for the forming of standard and short pitch hairpin conductors/coils, with additional section for the forming of special link and take-off conductors for alternator stators. The design of thå machine is suitable for producing hairpin conductors for starter armatures as well. The raw material is rectangular copper wire, insulated or bare, rolled up on reels with suitable dimensions. On the first section the machine performs straightening of the wire, forming of the coil, cutting off with pointing of the ends and varnish stripping when insulated wire is processed. The second section of the machine is destined for the forming of the special link and take-off conductors.
All machine units are disposed along the longitudinal aluminum frame with provisions for their displacement when changing the developed length of the processed wire. Millimetric scales are provided along the machine frame for reading the exact position of the units for a particular coil variety in order to facilitate future readjustment of the machine.
