HYDRAULIC FORMING PRESS FOR SERIES AND SHUNT COILS OF DC MOTOR STATORS (ACM130.01)

The АСМ130.01 forming press is designed and tooled up for the shaping of series and shunt coils for DC motor stators. The machine can be accommodated to process other coil varieties with provision of the necessary tooling.
The hydraulic press has upper forming cylinder and lower cylinder for releasing of the already bent coil. The machine frame is made out of alluminium profiles with steel upper plate that is also part of the lower machine traverse. The machine consists of two columns with upper and lower traverse with vertical slide, precisely guided on linear bearings, to which the upper forming tool is fixed. The lower forming tool, on which the coil to be formed is placed, is fixed to the main steel plate together with the workpiece releasing cylinder, disposed beneath the plate. The hydraulic cylinders are actuated automatically with electro-magnetic valves. The blank coil is loaded manually on the workpiece arbor that is also part of the forming tool and is driven by means of the lower cylinder. Then, by actuating the respective directional valve the upper hydraulic cylinder is lowered until the upper tool reaches the stops of the lower tool. After short retaining the upper tool is heaved back and the opposite directional valve actuates the lower cylinder that withdraws the arbor from the processed coil. The finished coil is shifted up with the arbor's stroke back to be released from the press.
