TEST RIG FOR TESTING OF DC MOTORS (UP TO 3.0 KW)(ACM138)

ÀÑÌ138 is a tester, designed for checking the electro-mechanical performance of DC motors from 0,8 to 3.0 kW power. The test rig is able to simulate real working mode by means of precisely controlled loading mechanism and torque measuring system. DC motor power supply is fed through a PLC controlled inverter. The motor test can be performed both automatically and manually (for checking the characteristics of sample motors or in case specific test is needed).
The motor is flange located and clamped along the stator body. A special connecting unit is used for supplying the desired DC voltage to the motor. By pressing the Start button the operator can perform separately or as one cycle the testing stages - test without load and load test. The registered parameters can be stored in the machine memory, if necessary. Types of performed tests:
- Test without load. Low voltage is supplied to the motor for turning the motor with rated speed. Values of the electric current, supplied voltage and motor rotating speed are registered;
- Load test. The DC motor performance is tested under load with preset torque and voltage values. Values of the electric current and motor rotating speed are registered; supplied voltage and torque are measured for their precise control. All registered parameters can be stored in the machine memory and printed, if necessary;
- Continuous load test (manually performed). The DC motor is tested under continuous load test, where apart from basic parameters, the operator can check also the noise level, motor vibrations and level of heating.
