DC-BASED MEDIUM FREQUENCY MACHINE FOR THE BRAZING OF LINK CONDUCTORS OF ALTERNATOR STATORS (ACM140)

ÀÑÌ140 is a readjustable DC-based 1000Hz inverter type machine, designed for the brazing of link conductors, screws, output leads, and series coils for DC motor stators. Most of the operations, including the brazing strip feeding process are performed automatically. A linear displacement gauge is provided on the machine for precise control of the depth of penetration of the electrode on the brazing joint that allows completing the operation after preset displacement is reached. The pressing force of the brazing electrode is controlled by a proportional electro-pneumatic pressure regulator, the parameters of which can be set up directly on the MMI.

Machine frame is made out of aluminum profiles with steel supporting pate, on which the following main machine units are disposed:
- Workpiece locating mechanism;
- Steel plates column carrying the brazing transformer and the shifting mechanism of the two electrodes;
- Brazing strip feeding mechanism, consisting of brazing strip reel support, brazing strip retaining mechanism, cylinders, clamps and brakes that actuate the feeding to the preset length.

Initial stator core positioning and all technical parameters of the brazing process are controlled through a Mitsubishi PLC.
ACM140 provides high quality of the process by ensuring implementation of the latest technology for brazing control.
