BRAZING CLIP FORMING AND INSERTION MACHINE FOR STARTER ARMATURE (ACM141)

АСМ141 is an automatic machine, designed for the brazing clip forming and insertion operation on the inner row coil/conductor ends of the starter armature. Machine bed is made out of aluminum profiles with steel nickel-plated supporting plate, where main machine units are disposed, as follows:
- Brazing strip reel support, disposed below the main plate;
- Brazing strip feeding mechanism, also disposed beneath the supporting plate that feeds the required length of the brazing strip by means of actuating cylinder, strip retaining clamp and a brazing strip brake;
- Brazing clip forming, punching and inserting mechanism that forms the clip, punch it during the shaping for saving of material and introduces the finished clip onto the respective armature inner leg;
- Armature coil/conductor end locating mechanism (gripper), used for orientating the armature leg against the clip that is to be introduced;
- Armature indexing mechanism;
- Armature V-shape supporting mechanism;
- Clip presence control, used for detecting insertion of the clip on the armature coil leg.

Approximate capacity: 80 armatures/hour for 25-slot armature
