HIGH EFFICIENCY STATOR TEST RIG (АCM146)

 
The ACM146 stator test rig is designed to perform testing of the electrical efficiency of stators after their impregnation. The machine frame is made out of aluminum profiles, steel sheets and transparent polycarbonate enclosure of the working area.  On a solid steel supporting plate is disposed the immobile workpiece seat for placing the stator that is to be tested.
The following electrical tests are performed on the stator test rig:
  • Flash test, (dielectric  strength test), with a voltage of 500V to 1400V AC, supplied between:
    - each two phases (3 measurements)
    - the phases and the stator core (3 measurements)
  • Individual joint brazing resistance (measurement of the resistance of each brazed spot).
  • Phase resistance of each phase.
  • Surge test.
The stator that is to be tested is placed inside the metal ring of the stator test seat with the output leads down, inserted into the respective openings, provided for the purpose. Then the testing cycle is started, performing consecutively flash test in static position of the rotary
table, phases resistance and individual brazing joint resistance test using the lowered contact clips (clamps) with tungsten electrodes.
