ALTERNATOR STATOR CONDUCTOR ENDS TWISTING MACHINE (ACM 70.01)

ÀÑÌ70.01 is a semi-automatic hydraulic machine, designed especially for the twisting operation of the coil/conductor ends of automobile alternator stator. The same machine can be readjusted to process various types of stators.
Machine frame is made out of aluminum profiles and precisely ground supporting plate. The two coaxial spindles, driven hydraulically through lever mechanism, together with the twisting tools are disposed on the upper part of the machine. Inner and outer twisting tools alignment and twisting angle are adjusted using the respective stop screws and a fly-wheel. Handles used for the adjustment are conveniently disposed in the front side of the machine, allowing easy access to the operator. Twisting tools are made out of high-grade hardened and ground steel.
The stator that is to be processed is loaded manually into the changeable centering workpiece seat with wire retaining pins attachment. The rectangular wire conductor ends are fed to the required distance (by means of a pneumatic cylinder) towards the twisting tools. Then the operator closes the wire retaining pins using the respective hand lever. Closing of the retaining pins brings conductor ends to be positioned against the openings of the twisting tools. A pneumatic cylinder retains the hand lever in lower position during the twisting process. The automatic twisting cycle is started by pressing the respective button on the machine control panel(MMI).
