UNDERCUTTING MACHINE FOR MICANITE INSULATION OF FLAT COMMUTATORS OF DC MOTOR ARMATURES (ACM75)

ACM75 automatic machine is designed for the undercutting of the micanite insulation between the flat commutator bars of starters and other DC electric motors. It is especially suitable for processing of new or rebuilding of old car starter armatures.
The machine is equipped with highly reliable indexing mechanism with photo-electric sensor and step-motor drive, ensuring automatic determination of the commutator bar number and perfect alignment of mica segment with the tool. Automatic detection and ignoring of fault signals. A pneumo-mechanical sensoring mechanism is provided, ensuring the automatic maintaining of the pre-set depth of cutting, irrespective of the commutator O.D. variations.

Capacity: 90 armatures/hour for commutator of 23 bars
