AUTOMATIC SKEWED(SPIRAL) SLOT ARMATURE WINDER(ACM79)

ÀÑÌ79 is a semi-automatic readjustiable machine, designed for the copper wire winding of 3 types starter armatures, where only workpiece loading, initial wire knotting and wire end paint marking operations are manually performed. The machine is conceived the way to process different types and sizes of workpieces and to perform random winding diagrams by means of changing the respective machine program. The machine consists of solid machine bed, headstick, tailstock and shuttle mechanism. Needle winding method is used for the automatically performed steps of the winding cycle by winding 3 wires simultaneously (machine can be redjusted to perform winding process with 2 or 1 wire winding).The wire is leaded through a needle and then wound around the armature stack. The needle that is directed both longitudinally and crosswise (along A- and Y-axes respectively) inserts the wire into the armature slots, thus avoiding possible collision between the wire and the armature stack laminations and protecting the wire enamel from possible damages.
