AUTOMATIC ROUND WIRE TWO-POLE STATOR WINDER (ACM88)

ACM88 performs automatic winding of two-pole small AC motor stators and insertion of coil holders after the finishing of winding process. The machine is easily readjustable for various types of stators. The machine structure consists of:
- Strong welded steel machine bed;
- Shuttle and shuttle drive. The shuttle introduces the wire into the stator core slots by performing to-and-fro motion along the stator axis and angular rotation at the two ends of the work travel. The shuttle drive mechanism is enclosed in a strong steel box, secured to the machine bed, driven by a variable speed motor through belt transmission;
- Workpiece supporting slide. Carries the stator core fixture, shifting vertically between lower end and upper end working positions. The lower end position is used for workpiece loading/unloading and inserting of winding form tools. The upper end position is working position, where workpiece winding and coil holder inserting occurs. The workpiece fixture is easily changeable and is designed individually for each type of stator;
- Winding form tool placing/removing unit. Mounted on the machine bed against the lower position of the workpiece supporting slide;
- Coil holder inserting mechanism. Mounted on the machine bed along the shuttle axis. The mechanism is readjustable depending on the coil holder type;
- Wire end clamping and cutting off units;
- Chain conveyor, serving as workpiece input/output magazine;
- Wire-tensioning mechanism;
- Electrically interlocked working area enclosure.
Machine control is performed by programmable controller and active screen type of terminal. Up to 100 machine programs can be stored in machine memory using simple commands.
